La Rêverie™ is rooted in beauty, history and precision. Our mission is simple: We find beauty in everything.

 

We create beautiful prints, paperie and fine goods to bring romance and sophistication to your home or event. We also accept two design projects each year, which are reviewed and selected via private enquiry.

While our signage and designs span a multitude of design periods, we specialize in design from the Byzantine, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Victorian periods. 

 

Sustainability is a key foundation of our business. In an effort to mitigate paper waste, we create miniature pieces of art that can be re-used or re-purposed rather than disposed. A card becomes a painting to frame; a sign becomes a piece of art to be displayed in the home.

Art accessibility is also a significant underpinning of La Rêverie™, as we work to make unique, but historical pieces of art available to everyone.

Our aesthetic is driven by our founder, Clau Rotberg, who developed a love of British history at a young age, reading all of the books she could find on King Arthur and his knights. She later attended Yale University where (alongside many boring political science courses), she took several art and British history courses.

 

Clau's love of historical beauty, coupled with her substantive period knowledge, led to the creation of  our company and the production of many pieces on this site. Additionally, Clau's background as a transactional attorney has endowed her with a scrupulous meticulousness that ensures we only deliver the very best.
